CHARSADDA: The dealers here have started distribution of wheat flour at the government rate at 91 sale points in all three tehsils of the district under the supervision of district administration and food department officials following directives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

The flour dealers have, however, demanded of the government and the food department to increase their wheat quota to ensure smooth supply of flour to the people at fixed rate.

The supply was started after a meeting of the flour dealers, which was chaired by their association president Ayaz Mohammad.

The meeting welcomed the government’s decision to provide a 20kg bag of wheat flour to the consumers at Rs860.
