THE picture of a three-year-old toddler wailing and crying his heart out while sitting on the body of his maternal grandfather who has just been shot dead by Indian forces should be enough to wake up the world.

The West and the world also need to remember that it had said ‘Never again’ when they had liberated Auschwitz, Dachau and Treblinka. I would like to ask the world what happened to their conscience and ‘Never again’.

Why has the world become blind and deaf to the murder over decades of 80,000 Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces? This is far more brutal than anything unleashed by the Nazis.

The world needs to act now against the fascist BJP government in New Delhi that has picked up quarrels with all of its neighbours, two of which are nuclear powers. Failure to do so will result in great tragedy for the human race.
