OKARA: A man along with his three unidentified accomplices allegedly axed to death a village man over the suspicion of having affair with his mother.

A first information report registered by deceased Muhammad Sharif’s brother Rafique, of village Mauza Chakkar, reads that the complainant along with his brother was in his house on Thursday evening when Sharif after a mobile phone call went out of the house and never returned.

When they launched a search, they came to know that Moeen Ahmad along with his three accomplices inflicted axe blows on Sharif on Batak Road and killed him.

As the village men gathered there, the body of Sharif was found in nearby fields.

The Basirpur police registered a murder case against Moeen and three others.
