Adviser to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister on information Ajmal Wazir said that the district administration was taking action against all those violating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Speaking to the media in Peshawar, he said that officials have carried out a total of 263,375 raids over the span of 13 days.

"As the chief minister has said, we will ease restrictions if SOPs are followed and will take action if they are violated.

"This is a difficult time [...] we are on the ground and taking all the necessary steps. We have to defeat this, through precaution, precaution and precaution," he said.
