PPP's Agha Rafiullah said the the nation was repeatedly told that the coronavirus was just the flu.
Addressing the National Assembly, he said: "The premier divided the nation by using divisive rhetoric."
He also criticised the government for failing to regulate the prices of personal protective equipment. "A box of face masks which used to be available for Rs300 is now being sold for Rs4,000. It is the government's job to regulate prices."
