Balochistan government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani has said that if people follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), there would be no need for a lockdown.

Speaking to the media, he regretted that people continue to hold huge gatherings that lead to the spread of the disease.

He said that the government was taking all measures to curb the disease and provide healthcare to Covid-19 patients. The recovery rate in the province is 37 per cent, he said.
