Estimated 30-40 per cent of hospitals vacant across Punjab: Yasmin Rashid

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid says an estimated 30-40 per cent of hospitals across Punjab are currently vacant.

Addressing a press conference alongside Prime Minister Imran Khan, she said around 10,000 beds are presently available for Covid-19 patients in the province.

She said in Lahore, 197 ventilators in the public sector and 104 private-sector ventilators are available for Covid-19 patients.
