PPP representative Nafeesa Shah has said that the government did not define the term "smart lockdown" before presenting it to the people.

"They did everything they wanted in this so-called smart lockdown. The price of basic food items went up. A thief was sent away out of the country in the dark of the night and petrol is nowhere to be found.," she said.

"They announced the NFC award during that smart lockdown. The best bit it, data shows that the only point where Pakistan's [coronavirus] curve was flattening was when the so-called 'lockdown of the elite' was in place."
