Pakistan's death toll from Covid-19 has risen to 2,002 after Punjab and Islamabad collectively reported 28 more fatalities from the virus.

The countrywide breakdown of deaths is as follows:

Punjab: 683
Sindh: 634
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 561
Balochistan: 54
Islamabad: 49
Gilgit Baltistan: 13
Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 8
