Pakistan has reported more than 5,000 coronavirus cases in a single day for the first time since the first case emerged on February 26.
Here's a provincial breakdown of the 5,080 infections reported in the last 24 hours:
- Punjab: 2,164
- Sindh: 1,475
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 542
- Balochistan: 445
Federal capital Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan reported a combined 454 cases.

- AJK: 32
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 45
