Information Minister Shibli Faraz has accused some political parties of "politicising" the coronavirus crisis and sowing confusion among the masses.

Addressing a press conference, he said all stakeholders including provincial chief ministers and doctors are present at National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) meetings and decisions are taken based on their advice.

"But despite all our efforts, some political parties are politicising the crisis. Chief Minister Sindh, for example, used to agree in NCOC and then he would say another thing when he reached Sindh. So PPP in particular but other parties too are sowing confusion," he added.
