PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that Sindh's efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic have been "sabotaged and challenged at every forum by the Centre".

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan's statements that nothing can be done to stop the spread of this virus were "absolutely rubbish".

"Who will take responsibility for the fact that we now have more cases than China?" he questioned, while criticising the federal government for "taking advice for an infectious disease from business owners and economic experts" instead of doctors and healthcare workers. "We are going through a disaster," he added.
