GWADAR: Pakistan Navy has donated food and other commodities in coastal areas of Balochistan and Sindh to help the needy families in the prevalent state of affairs caused by lockdowns due to Covid-19.

The Navy distributed ration bags containing sufficient amount of food and other essential commodities for a family of 8-10 persons for a month in Gwadar, Pasni, Sonmiani, Shah Bandar, Keti Bandar, Bin Qasim and other adjoining rural areas. Separately, Pakistan Navy distributed ration bags in various cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur.

In addition, Navy personnel conducted awareness campaigns about preventive measures against Covid-19 and distributed Personal Protective Equipment.
