No match in Quetta

Published February 21, 2020

THE holding of all matches of the latest edition of Pakistan Super League in the country is indeed good news for all. This news has been well-received by all including the people of Quetta. However, they are disappointed on one score — no match is to be played in our city. This is despite the fact, that we have a team, Quetta Gladiators in the tournament, and are the current champions.

The organisers of 2020 PSL League are requested to revisit the tournament schedule and hold at least one if not two matches in Quetta. This will give lovers of the game and the supporters of Quetta Gladiators an opportunity to support their team. In addition it will help project the softer image of Balochistan, the country’s largest province.

I am an ardent Quetta Gladiators fan and hope to see them play in front of a home crowd.
