RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Thursday issued notices to the owners and marketing companies of two illegal housing schemes namely Rudn Enclave Adiala Road and Model Town at Gujar Khan.

The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate of RDA has decided to register an First Information Report (FIR) against the housing schemes under Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010.

RDA spokesperson advised general public to not invest in illegal or unauthorised housing schemes otherwise they will be responsible for their losses.

RDA’s director general has issued directives to MP&TE directorate to take strict action against illegal housing schemes, development and construction of booking and site offices, he added.
