PESHAWAR: A senior advocate and active member of Peshawar High Court Bar Association, Ghulam Nabi Khan, died here after protracted illness. His funeral will be held at 2pm on Saturday (today) at his ancestral village Badora, Darband Road, Haripur.

The PHCBA’s cabinet expressed profound grief over his demise and has prayed to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace and provide courage to his family to bear this loss.

Late Ghulam Nabi Khan was affiliated with Jamaat-i-Islami and had also contested the National Assembly elections from Haripur in 2002. He was a vocal member of the bar and was known for his fiery speeches.
