QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Public health and Engineering Noor Muhammad Dummar announced here on Tuesday that northern Balochistan would soon have a new administrative division comprising several districts to provide maximum facilities to the people of Pashtoon areas.

At present, northern Balochistan comprises two divisions — Quetta and Zhob — of seven divisions of the province.

Mr Dummar said that the provincial government was seriously considering creating at least one more administrative division comprising several districts in northern Balochistan.

“On the demand of provincial ministers, MPAs and suggestion of the Chief

Minister Jam Kamal, the BAP government will take a decision soon about creating a new division and some districts in northern Balochistan,” Mr Dummar said. He said that preparations were under way for the purpose.
