RAWALPINDI: A victim of child sexual abuse, who was recovered by police from Bahria Town a week ago, again went missing on Tuesday, police said.

His family believed he might have gone in search of crystal methamphetamine (ice), which was used to drug him while he was kidnapped for two months.

Meanwhile, the police, investigating into child abuse case, took the main suspect to his official residence and a rented room in Hayatabad, Peshawar, to recover videos or other material he had been supplying to ‘dark web’ market.

The police are considering trying the sexual abuse case in model courts for speedy trial, the police said.

After recovering the sexual abuse victim, a grade three student, one week ago the police had handed him over to his parents, but the victim was not comfortable and used to cry and had withdrawals which worried his family.

On Tuesday, again he sneaked out of his house, what his family suspected that he might have gone in search of drugs.

One of his family members told Dawn that when they failed to get any clue of the boy, they sought police help.

“I suspect that he may have gone for drugs as he was forced to take ice by the suspect during his detention,” he said.

During police raid at Awami Villa, another boy, who was staying with the child abuse suspect as a house maid, was also recovered, he said.

A police party, led by Rawat SHO went to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to arrest other members of the scandal, returned to Rawalpindi without any success.
