QUETTA: Local leadership of many political parties on Tuesday criticised the performance of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) and Water and Sanitation Authority (Wasa) in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

At a joint press conference held at the Quetta Press Club the representatives of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl, Pakistan Peoples Party, Hazara Democratic Party, Balochistan National Party-Mengal, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Nazriyati, Jamat-i-Islami and some other parties announced that they would hold protests against these organisations for providing poor services in Balochistan.

The protests would be held outside the Governor House and the Chief Minister House on Nov 27.

Representing all these parties, Maulana Qadir Luni said that all areas of Balochistan were facing shortage of power, gas and water.
