QUETTA: Twenty people, including women and children, were injured in two road accidents on the Quetta-Sibi highway and Kadh Kucha area of Mastung district on Thursday.

According to officials, eight people were injured when two vehicles collided head-on at Kolpur Bypass in the Dasht area due to heavy rain. Levies personnel rushed to the area and took the injured to a nearby hospital for first aid. They were later shifted to a hospital in Quetta, where the condition of two of the injured is stated to be critical.

In another incident, 12 people were injured when a passenger bus collided with a pick-up on the National Highway in Kadh Kucha area. The injured were taken to two different hospitals in the area.
