KASUR: Three more cases of sexual abuse of boys were registered against the suspects in Pattoki area of Kasur district on Tuesday.

After the Chunian incident, the victims of child abuse have started raising their voice with the hope of seeking justice, unmasking the paedophiles.

Pattoki City police on Tuesday lodged another case of child molestation against a suspect, a personnel of a sensitive agency, who was also a part of the five-member racket busted in another case of sexual abuse on Monday.

They lodged a case against ‘S,’ a sensitive agency personnel, on charges of raping a boy some three months back. The suspect had allegedly called the victim to a rented house at village Naroki Majha to celebrate his birthday. The victim told his father about his ordeal when the suspect tried to blackmail him again with his objectionable pictures and videos.

Earlier on Monday, the police had smashed the five-member paedophile racket that had been abusing a student of third year for the last three years. ‘S’ was a part the racket whose another member also a personnel of another sensitive agency.

According to the first information report (FIR) lodged on Monday, the suspects had abused and blackmailed the boy for years through his objectionable pictures and videos.

Police had arrested four members of the gang, including ‘S’, while the fifth one, another agency’s official, had escaped.

Police claimed to have recovered the pictures and videos from the suspects. The agency ‘S’ belonged to reportedly took him in custody to proceed against him according to its own rules.

Police claimed that the racket would abuse the boys belonging to the age group of 10 to 20 years and blackmail them through pictures and videos.

Talking to Dawn, SP Investigations Mirza Quddus Baig said the police had not yet arrested the two suspects belonging to the agencies. “We would follow the due procedure and write to the sensitive agency to demand custody of the suspects for investigation.” Mr Baig said every suspect would be treated as per law.

Two more cases of child molestation registered by City Pattoki police two suspects. In the first case, the suspect had taken 10-year-old boy to fields where he allegedly raped him there.

In the second case, a suspect belonging to College Road, Pattoki, allegedly attempted to rape 18-year-old teenager of Kashif Chowk, some 20 days back. Police are separately looking into the cases.
