Peshawar BRT

Published September 23, 2019

ALTHOUGH the construction of Bus Rapid Transit in Peshawar continues at a snail’s pace, the people are relieved that some of the re-constructed roads have reduced traffic congestion to an extent.

However, the Peshawar Development Authority needs to construct at least 50 pedestrian bridges so that citizens can cross roads on the 29-kilometre-long BRT route safely.

The PDA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister should resolve this issue on urgent basis.
