Toddler dies as coach overturns

KARACHI: A toddler was killed and 10 other people were injured when a coach overturned near Khairpur on Monday.

A fast-moving coach going to Lahore from Karachi overturned at Babar Loi Bypass. As a result, two-year-old Mohammad Umar, resident of Bahawalpur, died on the spot while 10 persons suffered injuries.

They were identified as Imran, Akram, Imam Bux Bhatti, Shoaib, Bilawal and Abdul Khaliq.

All the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Khairpur.

Police said that the driver lost control over the vehicle while overtaking another vehicle.
