THOUSANDS of people from all over Pakistan visit Mansehra in summers to enjoy the lush green valleys, rivers, and mountains. Their destination is mainly Naran and Kaghan in Balakot, which are famous for their beauty and pleasant weather.

Apart from Naran and Kaghan, Mansehra has plenty of other beautiful places that are worth visiting such as Dadar, Mundi and Manda Gucha. Some locals built tourist spots and are able to attract tourists this season, but owing to lack of resources and awareness local people alone cannot help themselves in promoting area for tourism.

These undiscovered areas can be turned into tourist destinations with the help of the provincial government which will create employment opportunities for the people and revenue for the government.

The provincial tourism department should assist local community to promote tourism in these undiscovered areas.
