CHARSADDA: Three people were killed and as many injured in separate incidents here on Tuesday.

Two youth met a road accident late on Monday night when their speeding car went out of the driver’s control and hit a roadside power pylon near Government Taju Bibi College, leaving them critically injured. Later, they succumbed to wounds. The deceased were identified as Taimoos Khan and Shamsur Rahman, hailing from Sheikhabad area of Rajar.

Meanwhile, a man was shot dead while his companion was injured by his rival.

As per the FIR lodged with the Parang police station, slain Alif Khan and accused, Tahir Ali, exchanged harsh words a few days ago.

This led Tahir to open fire on Alif and his friend, Bilal, resulting in on-the-spot death of Alif and critical injuries to Bilal.

Tahir and his father Muzakir Shah have been nominated in the FIR.

In another incident, Noor Nabi Shah allegedly shot and injured his sister and nephew.

The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment. Reason behind the incident is stated to be a verbal brawl.
