KARACHI: Imran Ayub of the Azad panel and Rishad Mehmood of the Ittehad panel were elected as president and general secretary, respectively, of the Pakistan Herald Workers Union here on Tuesday.

Nizamuddin Siddiqi and Yousuf Tanoli were elected as senior vice president and junior vice president (unopposed), respectively, while Ghulam Fariduddin was elected as joint secretary, Kazim Raza as finance secretary and Nadir Hussain as information secretary.

The elected members of the managing committee included Ishaq Tanoli, Syed Mesam Raza, Ambreen Arshad, Ansar Mahmood, Afshan Subohi, Minhajuddin Mehekry, Tariq Ali Khan, Mahmood Ali Lasi and Kafeel Ahmed Baig.
