SIALKOT: Five big sports goods shops and their warehouses were gutted in a massive fire at the sports goods market in the Deputy Bagh area.
According to police, the fire erupted due to a short circuit and it engulfed the whole market.
The shops and the warehouses were full of sports goods worth millions of rupees.
Seven fire engines of Rescue 1122 had been busy extinguishing the fire for three hours and the efforts to control the fire were going on when this report was filed.
