QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Tuesday directed the authorities concerned to remove encroachments and illegal structures from different roads of the city to ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic.

A division bench of the BHC, comprising Justice Jamal Mandokhail and Justice Rozi Khan Barech, issued the order while hearing a petition on traffic issues and increasing encroachments in Quetta.

The bench directed the authorities concerned to launch an operation against encroachments, also remove unnecessary security barriers from Almo Chowk, Sariab Road and Airport Road and submit a report to the court in two weeks.
