LARKANA: A man and two children lost their lives and four other persons were injured when the car carrying a newlywed couple and their close relatives collided head-on with a Datsun on the outskirts of Naudero town, some 25 kilometres from here, on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Jehangir Mirani, 35, Nizakat Mirani, 11 and Shahzeb Mirani, 5. The injured were identified as Shahid Mirani (the groom), Abdul Shakoor, Sajid Hussain and Nasrullah Mirani. The bridegroom was also slightly injured.

The victims were taken to the Naudero Hospital from where Nasrullah, Sajid Hussain and seven-year-old Abdul Shakoor were shifted to the Chandka Medical College Hospital in Larkana due to their grave injuries.

The car occupants were destined for Ubauro town (Ghotki district) while the other vehicle was on its way to Sukkur.
