QUETTA: Armed men gunned down a young man and took away his car in the Killi Kirani area on Monday.

Police said 22-year-old Fida Husain was travelling in his car when armed man intercepted him near Hazara Town and asked him to hand over the vehicle to them. When he resisted, the armed men opened fire and injured him and took the car away.

Police took the injured to Bolan Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, police arrested a car snatcher at a check post in the Kuchlak area and recovered the snatched vehicle.
