CHARSADDA: Charred bodies of two brothers belonging to Yousafabad village of Mohmand tribal district were found in a car in Head Korona Buchay Pull in the limits of Tangi police station here on Friday.

According to SHO Noorul Amin, the Gandheri police post personnel were informed that two charred bodies were lying in a gutted car parked in the area. Sabz Ali, in-charge of the police post, rushed to the site, recovered the bodies and collected evidence.

According to police, the bodies were taken to the THQ hospital, Tangi, and later referred to HMC, Peshawar, for DNA test.

An FIR has been registered at the Gandheri police post. Sabz Ali identified the victims as Noor Khan and his borther Musa of Yousafabad village in Mohmand tribal district. He said it seemed that bodies of the two were first put in the car and then set on fire.

The SHO told this scribe that the deceased were brothers and killed by their rivals. The incident created panic and fear among the local population.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident a traffic policeman allegedly shot dead his sister-in-law after exchange of hot wards in the city police station limits. Mohammad Haroon, brother of the deceased woman, lodged an FIR against Khadim Hussain, who is an official of traffic police. Haroon told police that his sister, wife of Jalil, was killed by her brother-in-law after exchange of hot words.
