LAHORE: PML-N Senator Asif Kirmani has held the federal finance minister responsible for the price hike being endured by the people and which has made life of the middle classes miserable.

Talking to the media here on Sunday, he said the “change bomb” had been tied to the belly of the poor masses.

He said the last eight months had been very troublesome as “the poverty line is being eliminated by annihilating the poor.”

He said Finance Minister Asar Umar is responsible for the merciless inflation while an end has been put to creation of new employment opportunities and businesses have been shuttered down in the ‘Naya’ Pakistan.
