KHUZDAR: A man and his son were shot dead in the Wadh area of Khuzdar district on Saturday.

Levies officials said that armed men opened fire on the man and his 10-year-old son. “Both the father and son received multiple bullets injuries and died on the spot,” they said.

The attackers escaped from the scene after committing the crime. The motive behind the killings is not known so far. The deceased were identified as Saeed Ahmed Khadrani and Abdullah.

Meanwhile, in a road accident on Gwadar-Shahdadkot Highway, two men lost their lives after their motorbikes collided head on.

The deceased were identified as Amanullah Mengal and Rasheed Ahmed Mengal. Two other people, who were injured seriously in this mishap, had been admitted in Khuzdar district hospital.

In another traffic incident, two men were killed when a car and pickup collided on Quetta-Karachi National Highway in Mastung.
