HARIPUR, Jan 12: The district Nazim, Dr Raja Aamir Zaman, has condemned the brutal killing of a mother and her two sons in a dacoity attempt in Haripur the other night.

He directed the police for early arrest of culprits and taking them to justice. The mother and her two sons were shot dead and two others of the family injured by unknown dacoits during a burglary attempt in Mohalla Pattan.

The district nazim, through a statement here on Friday, termed the triple murder a heinous and savage crime against humanity, and assured the family of every possible assistance in nabbing the culprits.

He also held a closed door meeting with the local police chief and asked him to ensure the arrest of dacoits without any further delay.
