DERA MURAD JAMALI: The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Naseerabad Range, Rao Munir Ahmed Zia, has demoted four station house officers (SHOs) for showing poor performance and negligence in controlling law and order situation in their areas.

The decision was taken at a meeting of top police officials here on Monday.

The meeting reviewed performance of these officers and found them not up to the mark.

The IG then ordered the demotion of all these SHOs and made three of them assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) and one SHO sub-inspector.

The demoted SHOs are: Usta Mohammad sub-inspector Mohammad Zaheer Jamali; SHO of Gandakha sub-inspector Pir Bakhsh Bugti; SHO of 238-RD sub-inspector Khan Mohammad Khoso; and SHO of Notal Inspector Abdul Majeed.

Similarly, one-year services of SHO Khan Kot Javed Ahmed Khosa and SHO of Sadder Ghulam Sarwar Taheem were deducted.
