KARACHI: Pakistan Veterans Yellows conjured up their third straight victory while the Reds shared points with visitors Hyderabad in the Veterans Hockey League at the Olympian Islahuddin-Dr Mohammad Ali Shah hockey academy the other day.

The Yellows carved out a 2-0 victory over Dolphin Veterans with former Olympians Qamar Ibrahim and Kamran Ashraf scoring one goal apiece.

In another match, the Reds were held to a 3-3 draw by Hyderabad.

Former Pakistan player Pervaiz Iqbal struck twice in the second and fifth minutes while Tasneem Usmani added a third goal in the eighth minute for the local team.

Hyderabad fought back to draw level slamming thrice in 10-minutes through Shahid (2) and Irfan.

In the third match, Karachi Tigers outplayed Movers Veterans 7-0.

Arif Ali and Peer Saleem shared four goals among themselves while Azhar Saleem, Abu Bakar and Shoaib scored one goal apiece.
