PFA Director General Muhammad Usman said a team had sealed Saddique fish point at Scheme Mor for frying fish in substandard and rancid oil and Al-Fazal Restaurant for selling expired products and non-compliance of instructions.

An enforcement team raided Rahat Bakery in Harbanspura and sealed it after recovering expired food items such as corn oil, juices, cola and energy drinks.

Moreover, the provincial food regulatory body shut down two pan shops for selling ‘gutka’ that is injurious to health.
