Gal Gadot to star in Death on the Nile

Being the world’s most famous super-heroine is already a huge honour for Gal Gadot, but now she looks set to star in the adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile.

The film is set to be a sequel to Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express, which had an all-star cast, including Michelle Pfeiffer, Johnny Depp and Dame Judi Dench. The novel Death on the Nile centres on Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) investigating a tragedy on a luxurious cruise on the river Nile, as there’s a murderer on board.

According to reports, Gal Gadot is close to securing the role of Linnet Ridgeway in the upcoming film. Gadot is also to return to her titular role in Wonder Woman 1984 next year, which will see Chris Pinereturn alongside her.

Toy story 4 is an emotional venture

It doesn’t matter how old you are, you probably still love Toy Story and you’re probably eagerly awaiting the release of Toy Story 4 in June 2019. After all, it’s a movie featuring talking toys, with the voice talents of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack.

While a lot of information about the film has been kept under wraps so far, one of the stars has recently opened up about what it was like to make the new movie.

Appearing on American chat show, The Talk, Tim Allen, who plays Buzz Lightyear in the Pixar Animation Studios flick, described the experience as “emotional” and admitted he struggled to record his parts.

He said: “I don’t want to give it away, but this is an incredibly great story. It is so emotional, it’s so funny, it’s so big, the idea they’ve come up with, I’m startled. I couldn’t even get through the last scene. I would love to be a Washington leaker.”

Deadpool 3 set for surprise Christmas release

Ryan Reynolds’ lovable anti-hero returns for a surprise Christmas release in Deadpool 3, it has been announced.

Fans will be treated to two outings with Ryan Reynolds’ lovable anti-hero in one year when the third film in the franchise lands in December.

Following on from the success of 2016’s Deadpool, Ryan returned earlier this year as Wade Wilson — and now he’ll be back on the big screen in just a matter of months.

But the surprise release does mean the push back of some other movies.
