The Pakistan national hockey team on Friday registered their third consecutive win of the 2018 Asian Games, completely outclassing a hapless Kazakhstan side 16-0 at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Sports Complex in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The green shirts won their first two matches of the games against Thailand and Oman 10-0.

After leading 6-0 at half time, the Green shirts poured in 10 goals in the next 30 minutes.

Nine goals came through open play, five via penalty corners and two through penalty strokes. The scorers in the match were Tauseeq Arshad (4), Abubakr Mahmood (3), Ali Shan (2), Rizwan Sr (2), Umar Bhutta (2), Dilber, Atiq Arshad and Mubashar Ali.

World No. 13 Pakistan will next be up against 12th ranked Malaysia on August 26.

Both sides have won each of their three matches with convincing margins. Pakistan leads the pool because of a better goal difference.

Kazakhstan must be just learning to play the game. Malaysia won't be much tougher.

Pak has played practice matches up to this point. Against Malaysia we'll find out if this team is any good or not.

I am more keen to see their performance against, Spain, Germany, England, Netherlands and India. Beating smaller team doesn't get me jumping.

Congratulations team Pakistan. However, overall results for Pakistani squad for the Asian games 2018 is absolutely shameful and embarrassing. A country with the population of 25 million people just 1 bronze medal so far, what a shame! We hope that the neq government will look at this problem as well and try to fix it up ASAP.

Once again superb show by green-shirts. Nevertheless, these are akin to practice matches because of weak opposition. The real Asian Games caliber field hockey matches are yet to start.

Wow, loving the field hockey games. Pakistan continuously winning with double digit margins and the Indians not too far behind. Multiple 10-0 scorelines for Pakistan against weaker teams and 26-0, 17-0 and 8-0 scorelines for India augur well for an India-Pakistan match in the semis. All the best to both teams.

Something is there to rejoice. Lets see how pakistan fares agsint established teams in the hockey. Still a situation of gloom for Pakistan in asian games 2018 with only one bronze in the meda ltally.

No other team can achieve our goal margin. With this outstanding form, let us hope we will score atleast 10 goals against India...
