HEC: law test

Published August 16, 2018

THE objective of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is to organise the education policies and help universities in the interest of students.

Currently, the HEC has introduced a law assessment test (LAT) for new students who want to study law. The HEC was supposed to conduct the test. There are almost 14,000 students registered throughout Pakistan for the test.

The new fall semester was to start in August. Law colleges are bound not to give admission and start classes of law without LAT test. Unfortunately, the HEC still has been unable to announce the LAT date. Time is running fast. Student may miss their semester owing to the unnecessary delay. The HEC should arrange the test and announce the results as soon as possible.
