PESHAWAR: The new date of the entry test for admissions to medical and dental colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been fixed for August 19.

Previously, it was scheduled on July 15, which was postponed on the same day due to heavy rain in some districts.

Caretaker Chief Minister Justice retired Dost Mohammad Khan being the chairman board of governors of ETEA has approved the new date subject to clearance by the Met Office about the weather condition, according to a statement issued here.

It merits a mention here that Khyber Medical University in collaboration with Education Testing and Evaluation Agency.organises the entrance test each year.

The test will be conducted simultaneously at seven centres, including Islamia Collegiate School Peshawar, Haripur University, Grassy Ground Saidu Sharif Swat, Gomal Medical College (new building) DI Khan, Abdul Wali Khan University, Garden Campus, Mardan, Cadet College Kohat and Malakand University, Chakdara.
