I RECENTLY visited New Jersey. It was my ultimate desire to feel the eternal aura of Einstein in Princeton. What I noticed was Einstein was very much alive in Princeton University, but his home is not attended by anyone at 112 Mercer St, Princeton, NJ 08540, USA. The home has a historical importance. It is a private residence now and is not open to public.
There is no marker placed and plaques state ‘private residence’.
This was the home where Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi met Einstein in 1949. I am surprised why New Jersey state has not turned it into a museum.
