KARACHI: Pakistan number one Aqeel Khan cruised past Zohaib Gul of Hyderabad while Farhan Altaf, Munir Ashiq, Zeeshan Ashraf and Robin Das also beat their respective opponents to in the first round of the mens singles event at the 2nd EAM & SEM Memorial National Tennis Championship being played at the Karachi Gymkhana on Tuesday.

In the under-16 singles first round matches, Hamid Israr, Zainul Abidin and Kamran Khan overcame their respective rivals while Rayyan Khan, Abdullah and Haris Tariq also won their matches in the under-14 category.
