JUSTICE is the lifeblood for any egalitarian society. Its quantity, quality and frequency determine the degree of pluralism in that society.
The judicial system of a nation is supposed to furnish maternal treatment to each of its citizen in socio-economic and political spheres. Sadly Pakistanis have for the most part witnessed a constitutionally-controlled and traditional judiciary, where populism is the hallmark of their decisions.
A constitutionally restricted, time bound and fully accountable justice department is the need of the country if we are to compete with progressive nations.
