KINGSTON: An inspired spell of seam bowling from captain Jason Holder helped put the West Indies in complete control on the second day of the second and final Test against Bangladesh on Friday.

After the home team compiled 354 in their first innings, Bangladesh were bowled out for a meagre 149 in reply with Holder taking 5-44 in 10.1 overs at the Sabina Park.

He removed skipper Shakib Al Hasan for 32, Mahmudullah for a duck, Mushfiqur Rahim for 24, Taijul Islam for 18 and Abu Jayed also for nought.

Opener Tamim Iqbal was the top-scorer for the tourists with 47.

West Indies, who are 1-0 up in the series, then reached the close of play on 19-1 in their second innings.

First-innings centurion Kraigg Brathwaite was the only batsman to fall, bowled by Shakib for eight.

Devon Smith was eight 8 not out and Keemo Paul unbeaten on nought.
