PPP holds candidates’ interviews

KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) parliamentary board continued interviews of hundreds of candidates for 13 National Assembly and 29 Sindh Assembly general seats in nine districts of Hyderabad division, said a party statement.

“The board meeting was chaired by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and PPP-Parliamentarian president Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House here on Tuesday,” it said.

The board members include PPP women wing president MNA Faryal Talpur, Sherry Rehman, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Syed Naveed Qamar, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Waqar Mehdi, Ali Nawaz Shah and Shagufta Jumani.

Candidates from Tando Mohammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro, Matiari, Hyderabad, Thatta, Sujawal, Dadu and Badin districts visited Bilawal House for the interviews, the statement said.

Is this democracy? father and son deciding Sindh's political future, while others look on. When will we as a nation realize and take matters in our hands and develop, instead of leaving things to people whose aim is to retain power but not serve.

@Our dilemma Till the people of rural areas of Sindh will not have an opportunity to get education. The rural areas of Sindh is most under- doveloped in Pakistan for decades because of PPP. And PPP is the most corrupt regional political party of rural areas of Sindh in Pakistan.
