PESHAWAR: In order to facilitate litigants and their counsel, the Peshawar High Court on Monday brought the public interface sections (institution and copying branch) near the entrance gate of the PHC complex.
The court has also digitalised the process of institution and copying, which was earlier carried out manually having many loopholes and was time-consuming.
Under the automated system, the litigants would now provide only one original copy, one photocopy and one soft copy of the petition along with his/her contact number and email at the institution branch to initiate the process.
Keeping in view the problems of litigants, information kiosk has been set up at the entry gate to answer basic queries regarding cases. Under the new arrangement, deputy registrar judicial has now started hearing the cases at the reception which was earlier held inside the high court building, troubling the litigants in locating and reaching the branch.
From now on, reader and print section of the concerned court will upload scanned judgment in the system which will be available online to the copying branch to cater to the applicants.
