APROPOS your editorial ‘Ramazan price hike (May 17). Year in and year out, the government resolves to control the price hike at the start of Ramazan, but fails miserably in its endeavor to do so. All provincial governments should set up an oversight mechanism to observe the performance of commissioners and their deputies during this month, and penalise those who are found negligent of their duties.
