Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday said that being a victim of terrorism himself, he realised the pain of other victims especially the Hazara community in Balochistan.

Addressing a public gathering at Quetta's Hockey Ground, Bilawal stood where his mother Benazir Bhutto had stood 11 years ago in 2007.

"I am from an oppressed family and I know the pain of those who have lost their loved ones," Bilawal told a crowd of flag-waving supporters.

"How can we forget the children of APS, the lawyers of Quetta and the carnage of Hazara Town," Bilawal said during his address.

The PPP chairman said that even today mutilated dead bodies are being recovered in Mastung and Khuzdar, "and yet, Imran Khan's only problem seems to be Nawaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif's only problem is Imran Khan.

He added: "They only worry about coming into power and nothing else."

He reiterated that the issues of Balochistan can only be resolved through political means.

Earlier, the PPP chairman offered fateha as he visited the residence of members of the Hazara community who had been killed in recent targeted attacks.

Yes, we sympathise with Bilawal. However, his biggest disadvange and misfortune is his surname Zardari which is equates to corruption of highest order. He has my vote if he changed his name only to Bilawal Bhutto!!

Mr. Bilawal, your party was running the affairs of country from 2008 to 2013 under the guardianship of your father. Why, the death of your mother was not investigated at time, who stopped your father ( president of Pakistan) not to look into murder of your mother. Stop shedding these crocodile tears and ask your father to explain why ? Public cannot be made fool all the time.

"I am from an oppressed family". A multi billionaire with unlimited amount of corruption wealth is calling himself oppressed? Bilawal Zardari you enjoy VIP protocol while these innocent Hazara people die. First kindly explain where this wealth came from? After destroying Sindh. Corrupt to the core PPP government is going after Baloachistan which is already struggling.

The Hazara community has suffered too much already. The last thing they need is opportunistic politicians using them for point scoring. The Hazara man in the video sitting next to Bilawal was visibly unhappy at being used like this.

Dear Bilawal Zardari ..You are cashing in on your mothers death and so as your father. You were born with a golden spoon in your mouth with half of your life spent in UK. You do not know how it is to be a father or Mother of a ordinary son that was Gunned down while going to work. You have never experienced poverty and above all you have never experienced how is it to lose a bread earner in your family. So please play clean politics so that people can respect you for who you are. You do not know the pain for hazara community.

It is better to solve problems of people in Sindh than making empty speeches. People in Pakistan want proof of progress and work done by a political party. Shouting, slogans and speeches do not pay the bills. People need industries, jobs, clean water, electricity, removal of garbage, repair of roads and streets. Time to show what you can do for people to deserve their vote.

@WARRIs: He can never be a Bhutto, come what may. He is the son of Asif Zardari and Benazir Zardari, speaking legally according to the norms and customs of our society. Lineage moves along father's family line, not maternal grand father's.

A shameful statement which is tantamount to be twisting and manipulation of facts. It was during the PPP government that this beleaguered and oppressed community of Hazaras suffered almost 100 dead and score wounded in 2013.Who he is trying to fool. What did his government's do when the Hazaras sitting in rain and extreme old refused to bury their dead.Only lip service and the killings continued and went on and on. It is an irony of fate that he is comparing his ordeal to this hapless and totally frightened people bearing the brunt of ethnic voilence and in the process having members of their community decimated by these ruthless and inhuman group of terrorists.I for one can request him to stop playing politics with these unfortunate people, who in their own country do not feel safe and secure, to go beyond their enclave, which for all practical purposes has become a ghetto.These people don't need misleading political speeches but concrete work to be able to lead a secure and safe life
