DADU: A man allegedly gunned down his wife and her parents at their house in Zaini village located near Manzoorabad town, some 15 kilometres from Jamshoro city, on Friday and escaped.

Jamshoro SSP Pervez Umrani citing preliminary investigation said that the suspect, Dilbar Khoso, had been without work for long and the couple had been quarrelling over various issues arising out of poverty. After two recent serious altercations, his wife left him to stay with her parents, he said, adding that on Friday, Dilbar went to his in-laws’ house where another verbal encounter ended up in the tragic triple murder.

The SSP said that Dilbar shot dead his wife Sitara Khoso, 26, mother-in-law Nooran Khoso, 40, and father-in-law Channesar Khoso, 45, with a heavy weapon and fled. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after a post-mortem examination and a hunt for the suspect was under way, he said.
